I really like these things.

Pretty much identical to my first car. 1990 Legend Coupe LS that my dad bought brand new and handed down to me when I got my license in 1998. Had great big windows, super low dash, and nice fluid 80s/90s Honda steering. Although I always kinda wished he had waited to get a second gen that came out in 91. Those were baller.

You could find one ....

They were probably clearing out the 90 models ;)

So does Ludacris.

Not in the cards for me. Too many old Toyotas still to catch.

He got it in February 1990. I’m pretty sure he just didn’t know the new one was coming out. Oh well.

I shall commit heresy here - why not get an early LS460 and drive it until it dies? Or until you do? Those cars are bulletproof, and very comfortable: https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-for-…

My mom had a white 4 door legend.

The short answer is because an $1800 Celica costs $1800. The long answer is TOO LONG

Moms are cool

My mom had one identical to that. Plush seats! Fun car. Although the sunroof leaked.

There’s still a towel in the footwell of my pickup. I have more or less given up on trying to stop it.

Yeah but ... 8 or 1o grand gets you an LS that will keep going and going and going .... Tom and Ray (my automotive gods) took a call from a guy who had 350K on an LS400 - HAD NEVER REPLACED THE PLUGS AND WIRES! He just did bulbs, tires, oil changes, the stuff that wore out. He wanted to know what he should do ... the answer was a major tune-up and change the transmission fluid, then just drive it.

I’m not a very loyal car owner, outside of my pickup. My goal is to own many more.

I’d say Toyota Avalon or Lexus LS - it fits your family, it is reliable as the atomic clock, and you can just drive it anywhere. But that’s me if I had a family. But we just have 2 cats. They’ve taken 2 car rides in their life, and both have been in Hondas.

Still? How's the mold / mildew situation?
![]() 06/14/2016 at 22:12 |

Not so bad. It’s parked in the sunlight.

Still coming in through the wiper? Or is there another seal gone bad?
![]() 06/14/2016 at 22:17 |

I think it’s still the bondo wiper. The silicone I used completely separated probably because it was too cold when I applied it. I think I need to put it in the garage if I do it again

Can you buy a replacement cowl?
![]() 06/14/2016 at 22:35 |

Probably not for any price that I’m willing to pay.

If only a wide body R32 with second gen Legend taillights were my first car!
![]() 06/14/2016 at 22:45 |

Probably couldn’t be too much.
Have you been to Drive Autos website lately?
![]() 06/14/2016 at 22:49 |

Nope, that’s a legend with s body kit... It sort of scares me actually.

Yeah I checked them last month on a whim. Nothing to tickle my fancy

That’s way cheaper than the Taco you were looking at. What are you waiting forrrrrr>!>!!>!>!>?!!?!?2

The glass is identical to the normal R32 in the background. It’d be pretty hard to do that starting from a Legend. It’s an R32.

My god... I was under the impression that that was a legend coupe
